Unexpected Choices Exhibit Opens
April 29, 2022
Senior Ferris State University students who are part of the Design Program in the College of Business have launched an exhibit currently on display at the Ferris Fine Art Gallery in Big Rapids. On display through May 7, the exhibit is titled “Unexpected Choices: Achieving Business Goals through Graphic Design.”
Working with the West Michigan Graphic Design Archives, the students curated work from Autocam, French Paper, Grand Rapids Opera, Herman Miller, and The Upjohn Company. The work illustrates the many ways in which graphic design can help organizations appeal to, educate, amuse, and connect with their audiences. The students worked under the leadership of Design Program faculty members Alison Popp and Nicolas Mata. Brightformat, from Grand Rapids, contributed expertise, services, and materials to make this exhibit possible.
