An exhibit curated and designed by Ferris Design Program students in 2022 has won more recognition. “Unexpected Choices: Achieving Business Goals Through Graphic Design” has been recognized and featured on the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) website. The website feature provides a look at the project, highlighting its concept and impact on the student learning objectives. Visitors to the website can explore photography and gain valuable insight for professionals in the field of experiential graphic design.

“We are thrilled to have our work recognized by SEGD, an esteemed organization in our industry,” said  Alison Popp, Associate Professor at Ferris State University. “This recognition underscores our commitment to providing real-world experience and world-class exposure to production within our design curriculum.”

“Unexpected Choices: Achieving Business Goals Through Graphic Design” highlights and exemplifies creative and strategic approaches to graphic design. In alignment with West Michigan Graphic Design Archives goals, especially providing opportunities to learn about graphic design, visitors can be inspired by excellent work produced in the West Michigan region. The exhibit will travel to Lowell Arts in Lowell, Michigan, from August 24 to October 5, 2024.
